Scottish Borders Print

SKU: JG0320

I recently took the overnight sleeper train from London to Edinburgh and woke from a deep sleep in the Scottish Borders.  Had an intense Scottish mist not obscured my view then I may have seen something such as my Cityscape here … the River Tweed winding its way through heather clad hills upon which sheep flock. The austere architecture of the Scottish Borders fascinates me, with its fortress like turrets and windows that appear to function more as a guard than letting in light. The Scottish Borders is rich with its own unique culture, whether its a passion for rugby, the Hawick procession or the scrumptious Selkirk Bannock.
