Ohio Greeting Card

Oh Ohio!.. The Buckeye State... and there's a scattering of them in the top right hand, corner of my illustration of this mid-west state of America! Ohio is a state of industry and agriculture, the mother of Presidents as well as home to wild west legend, Annie Oakley. 

The skyscraper skylines and steel bridges of Toledo, Cincinnati and Columbus feature in my artwork together with the pleasure beaches of Cedar Point on the shores of Lake Erie. Ohio is an essential food producing, region of America and I've drawn a typical Ohio farm with cows and crops together with some iconic, agricultural landmarks such as the food-basket building at Newark and the Field of Corn near by the state capitol of Columbus.

State symbols such as the red cardinal (bird), white tailed deer (animal), ladybug (insect) and flower (carnation) feature in my travel illustration print of Ohio and help to celebrate its unique character and charm in art.
