Hampshire Greeting Card

Hampshire is a beautiful English county with a diverse landscape of vast forests (The New Forest), beautiful rolling hills and meadow (South Downs National Park and North Wessex Downs) and stunning coastal scenery (South West Coastal Path). Not surprisingly it is also dotted with some beautiful mansions, including the iconic Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey). Winchester Cathedral is an example of amazing, ecclesiastical architecture but I also love the beautiful simplicity of the church at Stockbridge and the abbey at Beaulieu.

Jane Austen is a famous face from Hampshire and her cottage at Chawton is included within my design. Cute ponies roam the New Forest, sheep graze on the South Downs and swans float along the Fleet Pond under the buzz of a dragonfly.
In the Solent that makes its way to Southampton, yachts line up as they make their way into the marina, followed by a huge cruise ship. Beach huts, a lighthouse and castle frame the coastline, keeping a watchful eye on the world beyond Hampshire.
